The guys from nis-knacks?.com in Hawaii gave me a call after I sent him an e-mail about his B&G springs for our Max. He said they don't have anything in stock b/c B & G is prototyping a coilover system!!!!

I'm not sure that it's true so I gave his contact @ B&G a call ... he's on lunch ... but I'll call him back in half an hour & c what's up!!!!

OK ... I spoke to the guy ... the entire set up will be manufactured by B & G .. unlike Cattman who uses KYB? and just fine tunes it? Do I have it right?

N e wayz ... the most important ....

1. He says it's not going 2 b cheap ... the price he gave was $1800!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. Expected time? They don't appear 2 b in any rush ... they don't expect a huge response 4 that price ... as he said ... "it'll be ready when it's ready ... we want to make sure that it's complete before we mass manufacture" .. actually that shouldn't b in quotes since I essentially reworded what he said ...

So .. that unfortunately leaves us in exactly the same position essentially .... I'll keep u posted as I hear things ...

BTW ... the dude from Hawaii took a 5th Gen Max autocrossing! He luvs he car! He said that he has pix of the Max on its side ... so much so that we can see the underside

He said he'll try & scan & send 2 me so I'll post as soon as I hear from him!

 

Dont' know what's up with JIC coil-over system for our cars!!!!! "bawling:
