Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the brake fluid stains off of the inside of my wheels?

You don't. Brake fluid is corrosive to paint. You could try to buff it out with some cleaner wax but it may or may not work.

That is most likely brake dust from your pads.

Not Brake Dust.

The clip from my brake line broke free, and brake fluid sprayed the inside of the wheel and the wheel well.

I just used a new product from Meguiar's called "Extra." I'm happy to say it took care of most of it. (It lightened the area where the brake fluid spattered. I'm hoping, with continued use, it will remedy the situation completely.)

I believe it would have etched through the painted portion of the rim, but thankfully it stayed on the inside.

I was saying brake dust in response to slick's post. Glad to hear you were able to clean that crap up.

If you cleaned it up and it came back it is brake dust from your brake pads.

it doesn't look like it....

this stuff on my wheel was VERY dark black, brake dust is not that dark. it could be seen from a distance. but i'm pretty sure it isn't powder ink, probably something that got onto the brake pads or disc or something.
