Wtf?!
Wtf?!
I don't get it.
First my I30T clock went out, along with it, the trip odometer would reset everytime I turn off the engine. I'm not sure which fuse the clock/odometer would fall under, so I checked the fuse labeled Meter, Electrical Parts, Stop Lamp, Room Lamp, Trunk, and all the fuses weren't blown. So I'm befuddled.
Then I go to lock my car doors, and now the car locks won't lock with my remote. Worse, all the interior room lamps have gone out now. WHAT IS GOING ON?! I re-checked all the fuses again and nothing's blown. The trunk opener/door locks/remote fob won't work at all. Thankfully the trunk/door locks work when the engine is on. HELP PLEASE.
I hate Infiniti/Nissan - ever since I bought this car, it's nothing but a headache.

I'd suspect an electrical problem (duh) -- on Jeeps we have a part called a BCM (body control module) that controls all interior functions such as lights, radio, locks, trip comp, etc. and when it goes bad all that stuff quits working. I'm sure Nissan has something similar and/or integrates these functions into the ECU.
I doubt it's a fuse if some components work and others dont but you could possibly have a burned fusible link or a wiring harness that's chafing somewhere, shorting it out one wire at a time.
