i don't know what happened! i took it to the dealer and now my alarm doesn't chirp anymore! it still honks but now chirping! i told him and he reprogrammed the remote, but STILL no chirp! how do i get it to work again?

 

there are directions on the back of the remote on how to make it chirp...did you try those?

So are you saying it is not the one that comes with all maxes - it's a dealer installed option?? If is the standard alarm then do the following: press both the lock and unlock buttons for 2 seconds and the beep should come back.

 

yeah, dealer installed option. i tried that. the beeping from the car works... just not the dealer alarm.

 

Um, I'm at a loss here. Do you have an aftermarket alarm or not? If not, the instructions to turn it from noisy to silent aren't working?
