Pretty Sad on the East Coast

I notice that most of you who have been stopped for lights live in the North East or in Virginia. Sorry to say it, but your part of the country has become a communist state.

Police there only care about who can pay $$$ for fines...if you look poor they won't even look at you twice.

Red light camera's that make noting safer but do line the coffers of government & camera manufacturers, lowest speed limits in the country, highest car taxes in the country. I don't know why anybody lives there.

In Kentucky I've never even heard of someone being stopped for lights.

Go to court though, plead not guilty...they hate that, it costs them time & money. Make them earn it

Believe me, they just want the cash. I used to work for a prosecutor.

look all the guy was doing was being a ****, you can fight it and win, an appeal is to fight for it after it has already been placed as guilty, your not guilty and most of the time if you go down to the courthouse and ask to fight it they will make u an offer and most of the time the judge already know which cops are just be real *** holes. So i would just take it to the dmv, well in nyc the dmv and court are the same and fight it.

I agree...I say enough raggin on the USAF MP. There are nice cops and then there are mean A$$ pigs. Thats life. I say fight the ticket, on the grounds that $370 dollars is too much *******ed money for fukyn white side markers. If you fight it, you can justify it by this. You are wasting your day in court fighting a ticket and you could be doing other stuff. That IMO is payment enough. He learned his lesson, he went to court and wasted a few hours of his day. Change them back to stock, unless you want to get another ticket, or you can keep your nice lights and play with fire. Thats all that needs to be said. Subject done. No more insults or useless posts in this thread.

Now we just wait for one of our wonderful moddies to lock the thread and all will be well.

i told you the whole story, i wasn't driving wreckless or anything, actually in my honest opinion, he wanted his points to go up and cite me. other reason, it's in springfield, a place where the drug population is high. my car looks very clean and shiny, a black maxima, the cop must be thinking i'm a minority with a drug car. not saying maxima's are drug cars but i know dammn well he wanted to search the car. so yeah he got me for $370. oh and did i said he was on my azz for 5 mins? then i finally take the exit and he pulls me RIGHT then, why 5 mins tho? he wanted to read the plates and see what race i was. why didn't he pull me over RIGHT when he was behind me? you tell me

for california, i believe you are allowed to have clear turn signals up front..... so it may depend on the state law...

cops here will pull you over saying that the front is illegal to have clear, but i believe its legal in cali...

I highly doubt that... I think its a federal standard... the cops over there probably just let it go seeing how every other car is a modded import.... just kidding...
