That might look a little odd considering how low Progress springs go.

I know I drove around for about a week with H-Techs in the front with stock rears and it looked pretty weird. And progress springs go lower than H-Techs.

Bumping this thread to give another opinion on the front H&R drop.

After driving my I35 for 2 months on H/R with stock SE struts in the front & SE springs with GLE struts in the rear vs. illuminas all around, I say go with the Illuminas. The rear of the car becomes way under dampened with the stock struts, so the car dips on bumps. A very wierd feeling when the front take the bump and the rear is slow to follow and bounces back. The Illuminas prevent crashing into the bump as hard in the front as the stockers allow and stiffen up the rear to balance out the dip to keep the car level. Im on 3F 4R at the moment.

Just wanted to throw that out there for those looking to even out the height of the front without sacraficing the ride quality too much.

I've got abt 3k miles since I went H&R fronts, stock SE rears (OEM struts) and I have to say, it's not too bad.

The rear end isn't as planted in turns, and tends to wallow a bit -- but it's predictable, and the ride is SO much more smooth that when i was on progress and illuminas. Still, over-damped though....SE struts are harsh on expansion joints and the like.

I have to say though - when I wear-out the OEM's, I'll likely go back to Illuminas or maybe blues -- but NOT OEM's!

I like the spring combo though....at least the DROP is finally proper!

you know, you guys got me thinking about a front only drop.. i have illumina struts with proxes and stock springs right now.. i could use some more cornering stability... how is the high speed stability with a front only drop compared to an all around drop?
