Short and simple: Did Nissan make a change to the 2001 climate control console allowing it to go up to 90-degrees? Because the 2000 Maximas go up to only 85, and a number of Org members were shocked last night when I told them my max is 90-degrees, as opposed to the 85. Now, I always knew that the 4th gens only went up to 85, but I never knew that the 2000s did too.

So did Nissan make that change for the 2001?

I dout it is any cooler or hotter, just a cosmetic thing.

 

Mine goes all the way red or all the way blue.

 

I never set mine to 85 anyway. Thats wayyyy too hot if you're driving. And 65 degrees maintained by the auto climate is cold. When riding alone, I have the temperature set at 73 and with a passenger or two i set it to 70. Even on the coldest of days, I never set the system above 77.

 

why would anyone crank that up to 90? jesus. 72ish is usually perfect for me too, maybe a lil lower sometimes, but 90!?
