Anyone with aftermarket seats ?

I'm thinking of putting some Corbeau seats into my Max- possibly next week. I would like to know if anyone has installed seats into their Maxima, and if they are lower or higher than stock inside the car ? I don't wanna sit too low or high in the car, stock seating height is just fine. Stock seats are comfy and luxurious, but when I'm out autoXing or road racing I slide around in them like I was racing on a park bench- they got nothing for latteral support. Racing harness helps, but stock seats and Sparco harness don't get along well. Anyone with even a 4th gen has any input ?

i have a corbeau CR-1 in mine.

They sit pretty low, IMO i like it tho, its very comfy and hugs you when you're taking those turns.

my associate here at work has a 4th gen with corbeau racing seats. Its perfect for him (6" 1) but waay too low for me (5" 7). It feels like I can't even see past the dash at times and that i'm always looking upwards. My feet can't reach the pedals fully if I'm sitting all the way into the seat with it fully extended forward. It has the Williams racing harness also, which is quite comfortable and goes nicely with the seat

ha i jus made a post jus like this in the 4th gen forum today. I have never sat in these seats before so im going to make a trip to lorton and do a little "test sitting fitting". as I said in my post i love the sparco torinos.
to the picture above.....the seat looks good by why only get one!? Seems like it would look a lil dumb with only one race seat and a different color seat at that, even though i doubt they make a tan color racing seat

Thanx for the input guys, I'm going with the TRS seats for both sides. I figure if the seats are too low, I will shim them up with some spacers and longer bolts. I'm going to use their rails/sliders. I made myself a custom bracket for a MOMO Race that I had in the car for like a day, the seat was so low that I could barely see past the gauge cowl- and I had to look through the steeringwheel out the road. I don't wanna be this low.

hey a33 i was checkin out your homepage, nice max just what are those blue track lights supossed to light up. They look disorganized in the first picture, maybe you should do it so they wrap the under side of the hood. That could look pretty sweet right?

or you can find a way to alter the bottom of the 350z to work on the maxima rail.

heated seats and such can be wired to work if the plugs are different.
