De-Badge! De-Badge! De-Badge!!!

Started the process on Sunday afternoon with some fishing line, which took all of 7 minutes of firmly prying the line under the badge to cut through the spongy adhesive. Took me another 20 minutes to try to get the majority of the spongy adhesive off, so I still have to get the remainder of the hard adhesive off. I'm going to get that "Oops" on my way home from work tonight and get the rest of it off.

Most people know Maximas when they seem 'em anyway... Our tailfeathers are rather distinct...

i am thinking of resending my vote to debadge although i love it debadged, i have had a "problem" with non-car enthusiasts wondering if my ride is an "altima" because they cannot see the name on it. it has happened 4 times now!!!!!!!

I have a MAXIMA rear plate frame, which I bought prior to debadging, in case anyone doesn't know what car it is. Also, having MAXIMA on the plate and car withing inches of each other looked goofy.

That's funny, some kid got in my car last night and asked me if it was an Altima. I was like, "No, it's a Maxima." I said this hesitantly because I knew that he wouldn't have an appreciation for the Max over the Alti. He and the other guy in the car go, "Ooooohhh, a MAXima..." like they were mocking me. Two minutes later I did a nice burn-out to prove to the one kid that the car could (he didn't believe me).

plus, if you debadge, the cop might not be able to write you a ticket, if he cant figure out what the hell car you have then you can go to the judge and say "see, the ticket says ALTima, but i have a MAXima. clearly 2 different cars..."

Happens to me all the time... Last time I got pulled over the cop said "Nice ride man....... What kind of car is this?" Im actually still trying to fight the ticket. The officer wrote that my car was a Brown 2003 Infiniti No-name 5-door. I looked at the ticket and was like.... At least he got the Infiniti part right

I guess you dont really see that many I30's around, but come on!
