Crankcase

Hey guys I have 120000 MILES ON MY 2000 MAX SE. I just bought this oil additive to improve compression and kep the stuff in the engine tip top. My question is it says to pour it in the crankcase. Is the same place where you put the engine oil. Thanks guys.

my suggestion - don't put any of those garbage oil additives in your car. Most are bogus and do nothing to help your engine - could even hurt it!

check out the fluids and lubricants forum here on the org!

with high miles like yours unless you have been using that stuff for a while it can be bad for a while. when engines get lod they start bilding up residue and rely on it to work right. if anything i would recomend seafoam. do just a little at first to get rid of the big stuff and keep doing it just before oil changes.

to answer your question though, yes you would add it in the same place as oil.
