Harm in replacing stock crankcase breather?

I recently installed nitrous, and in effort to find a place to place the nozzle in my stillen popcharger intake, i decided to remove that large plastic piece that the crankcase breaker connects to and replace it with a small piece of pipe for the nozzle. i dissconnected the crancaske breather from the valve cover and replaced it with one of those $15 breatehrs that look like a small air filter. should this be a problem or will it be ok?

As far as I know there is no harm.

There are arguments that it's for a correlated response why its tapped from the same air flow going into the engine and the other argument was that its mostly for economics placed after the intake filter no need for a 2nd external.

Hope that helps
