NEW DDE's, 8500k HIDS, Smoked Sidemarkers and Tails...*PICS*
Many many thanks to TheBigDu, yesterday we installed my DDE's that have been sitting around for over a year. While we were at it I upgraded my HIDs to 8500k D2Rs. Then today I was a lil bored so I got out the niteshades and put two coats of it on both my taillights and all four sidemarkers. The taillights remind me of the SE-R styling. I really like the way they look during the day. I will get better pics of them tomorrow; I ran out of daylight today.
The HIDs are much more purple than the stock and match perfectly with my
super white 9 LEDs from autolumination in my side markers and parking lights.
Enjoy!

Nice....
Lets see those headlights on something and from drivers seat. I want to see the color. I am planning on retrofitting my ebay headlights and a few other to them (like Dr. Roys), but I am torn between what kelvin to run.

Personally, I think it looks a little busy in terms of lighting colors and such. The fogs should definitely not be yellow with so many other colors in the 5000-8500K range. Also, I would not have any parking lights, especially if you are going to be driving around with just your DDEs and fogs on (no HID). I think the parking lights take away from the DDEs.

I got those LED replacements for my clearance lights from Autolumination.com too, but mine are the 6-LED bulbs. I was very pleased with the fact that they're not yellowish like the stock clearance light bulbs, but I was slightly disappointed that they are more blue/purple in color than the stock HID low beams. Overall, the look is 500% better than stock, but I would have liked them to match the HIDs.
You say yours are the 9-LED bulbs? As far as I can see, Autolumination doesn't list any 194/168 size bulbs with 9 LEDs. The most I see is 6 LEDs. I did find a 921 size 9-LED bulb. That's what I used in my reverse lights. Did you modify that bulb to fit in your clearance lights?
Something tells me I should never have messed with these Autolumination LEDs in the first place. When I get the money, I'll probably go Polarg unless I can get this LED situation straightened out.

No modification needed for the bulb to fit. The 6 LEDs btw are ALOT dimmer than the 9 LED and can barely be seen with the HIDs on. I ordered the wrong ones before.

I'm pretty sure there's a lil bit more light and they look brighter side by side to the stock to the naked eye. But who knows I'm sure somebody on here will give some formula that says its not or something.
