Headlight case painting

Hey guys, I'm thinking about painting the inside of my '02 headlight cases black, and was wondering if you thought it would look better to do gloss black or flat black. It's hard to tell in pictures what everybody else is doing. Thanks.

I think that most guys that have done it have gone with flat black. I think the flat or matte finish looks better behind the lens.

I used a satin black bumper and trim paint on mine. Its like in the middle of gloss and flat. I am very happy with the way it came out. I used this stuff:

Dude, your ride looks GOOD. I just bought some 2K GLE tails painted black from xlcrew and put them on mine and shaved the rear emblems, and I'm dropping it on Maxspeeds probably next weekend, and I think I'll do the headlights soon too, so I'm copying off of you, haha. I'll get pics up of all of it. I like the satin finish, I may use that.

I prefer either the gloss or whatever MyownNismo used to the matte.

I think it will be better to do flat black if you plan on DDEs...less reflection will make them look better.
