Damn, that looks great Sgt -- I have some gloss black VHT brake caliper paint sittin in the garage waitin to be put on, now I have some idea how it will look.

They look good to me also. In the last picture, it seems like the pad isn't making contact with the entire surface of the rotor, but just with the 3 small areas where the holes are drilled. What pads are you running with the new rotors?

Thanks Everyone. That G2 paint system is great. I had enough to paint 6 caliper twice if I wanted. It doesnt look like much in the can but there is plenty!

I noticed that too. Its only the fronts. I put all the shims etc... back together correctly. I'm thinking the cross drilled are pulling material off the pad differently on the front for some reason.

I'm just running OEM pads.

1st- that slotted rotor and g2 paint look amazing!


yup! what i should have done was to pour 1/2 of the paint in another container before the activating solution was added. this would have allowed me to do another set of 4 calipers (granted i had remembered to save 1/2 of activating agent).

He purchased them from iRotors. Same setup as me and Polak are running. Price is around $300 shipped for the rotors.
