installing rear sway

hi i have a question about step 6 in matts rsb write up.

Step 6. Tighten locknuts down to 25ft lbs of torque. If you do not have a torque wrench, tighten the locknuts until the bushing hardware bends into the base plates.

couldsomeone clarify what exactly the bushing harware and base plate is please? pics would be great.

which part of the sway bar are you taking about? The section that attaches to the rear axle or the part that attches to the swing arm?

I didn't use a torque wrench either with no problem at all.... you'll know when it's tight. If you had a torque wrench, you'd be surprised how easy it is to get to 25ft. lbs. of torque. Just make them good and tight and don't try to strip them off the bolt and you'll be fine.

Have you tried asking Matt himself? Send him a PM or IM... he's online right now...
