Starting problem
Sometimes after i have ran my car and then a leave it for a while and go to start it it turns over the makes this clcik noise and chokes a little bit. Then i go to turn the key again and it turns over and starts that time. Anybody have a cure they wouldnt mind sharing with me. Yes i have read all about MAF's and how they dont allow the car to start if they are shot. First off let me say this, my car i know is running rich, so i have this feeling that the car may be having problems getting the right amount of gas to start her up. It sounds like its choking cause there isn't enough gas. Anyone got it??

i use to experience the same thing. after i ran it for a short trip and tried to restart it, it would attempt to turn over and failed. if you turn the key to on, you will hear the fuel pump priming, if you leave it there for a while then (more than few seconds), it should start right up. i asked a local member one time about it and he described it as injector leakdown. i have made it a habit to do this before i start it everytime and it starts quicker even when its completely cold. by the way, how do you know you are running rich? have you pulled the plugs?

No i didnt pull the plugs yet. Sometime when the car is running alil too rich or something the car could choke, stutter and not run aswell. so i just figured my car must be running rich or seomthing witht he start up problem. but ill give your solution a try and im sure that itll work jstu fine. i will let you know. Thanks dude.
