I thought of spraying a bit on the pillow ball too. I haven't noticed any noise from there, though. Even though the nut is on very tight, I was able to move the mount around before I installed them.

What about the pre-loading of the springs? How much did you do? I was thinking that too much or too little might contribute to the noise.

Man, I sure wish these things came with some directions....
I used heavy weight grease, lithium will not last long. I used like a marine type grease that is waterproof. I didn't touch the pillow ball mounts yet, and that is probably the source of my noise. Hopefully we'll see when I tear into those things.

As far as pre-load I have it adjust to about 10, relatively soft. The ride works for me. I really don't think sounds have much to do with pre-load settings....

Yup, but we had to buy them from Urban Imports. No one knows where Mark went. He said he didn't have the money to buy them from Urban who did the importing. He's being investigated by the Toronto Police.

I smelled a rat right from the get go, then once I discovered he was in toronto I flipped....hence my cancellation. I had to fight him tooth and nail to get my $$ back, but I eventually did. I think thus far, I have been the only one successfull in retrieving my $$$ from him. Lesson is: no more international GD's

I got a refund, but not from Mark. My CC company has credited my account for the full $700.
