k looked into it more sorry for the repitition...so my car has 4Y900 under the hood and it says cat...as far as i can see that falls under the tsb......do i have a valid argument with this crappy jerry rome nissan place or will they not know what im talking about?

 

You have a valid argument -- I just had this TSB performed on my car a couple of months ago and the dealer just installed a brand new stock ypipe. Everything was free under that emissions warranty, just don't let them bull**** you.

 

Be careful, my dealer tried to charge me $1100 for this job..

I called Nissan North America, and they confirmed it was all covered under emissions warranty. As long as you have under 80K miles & cali spec, the dealer should fix it all free.

My dealer called twice to apologize...haha I guess they got in trouble.

i called em they knew about the tsb so next week im gonna bring it in...ill let ya know!!

 

Print out a copy of the TSB and take along with ya just in case....
