question on 2001 max

my friend going to look at a 2001 maxima tomorrow. it's a 20th anniversary edition..blk with blk leather. has a spoiler and sunroof and also ground effects. in no accidents and has a couple of scrathes. it's got 65,000 miles. this guy has it for sale for $11,900. does this sound like a decent price? i have not seen the car yet i am going with her. are their any questions or things i should look for to make sure this car is in good condition?

that's a good price for an AE... but try to negotiate the price.....
ask for maintenance records.. and run a car fax on the VIN#..... to make sure the car is clean....

Look at the car during the day, cause you can see if its been painted, look at the bolts underneath the hood by the fenders cause if it was fixed those bolts will have the paint stripped from them. Also look at the car from different angels so you can see if the paint has two different tones/hues. Meaning if the fender looks lighter then the rest its been painted. Other then that its a good price, is it stick or automagic.
