okay at my school, there is a a 2000 Maxima 3.0L GXE Automatic Clip. and it does have 1 code. Evap Pressure Control. but has nothing to do with the starting problem. We crank the engine and it just keeps turning over. we can hear knocking at the timing chain area. but no start. checked crank sensors and they worked out fine, check out inhibitor system and all is well there also. And when we turn the key to ON, the RPM's Flux from 0-2500 and back depending on the direction of the key. checked out ignition switch, and it is fine. can some one shed some light on here? someone said to use a consult II but we dont have one at my school.
