Installation of clutch pedal assembly...

Has anyone ever replaced their clutch pedal assembly? I ordered a new one from Dave Burnette, and it should be here by the weekend, so I wanted to get some insight before I tried anything. Im replacing it because of the whole "clicking clutch" delima. Ive heard its a PITA to R&I one of these, but I cant fathom paying Nissan 85 bucks an hour to do the work for me.

Any help would be highly appreciated!

sorry, but i'm curious to know what all is included in the clutch pedal assembly? i've adjusted my clutch several times, and that didn't seem hard at all, and it appears that the actual arm/pedal comes off pretty easy...if it's any more involved than that, then i have no clue..the best thing to do is just go out and look at the pedal thoroughly to try to find where it detaches than go from there...it shouldn't be too hard, unless it is more than just the arm....good luck on solving your problem!

Im sure someone on here has added the AE pedal upgrade. That involved removing the factory pedal assembly as well. Im hoping they stop by....

The pedal assembly is basicly everything from the pedal to the top of the "arm" where the "rather large pin" holds it in place. It also comes with new bushings. I seriously hope this ends the clicking.

you dont replace the entire assembly. you just remove the rubber piece and put on the rubber and metal piece from the AE

you remove the throttle assembly, but not the clutch..

if it's only the clutch assembly arm, then it should be a piece of cake install....just follow the arm up and you'll find out how to remove it just using your common sense...
