Wrong size batter in my car!

I bought my max about a year ago and recently a mechanic told me that my battery is the wrong size (too small) for my car. I had no clue and have been driving with it for like a year now. My question is whether or not I have been damaging my car and should I immediatley change it?

Next question is whether or not it is worth getting an optima battery?
I found one for like a 100 at costco.

I don't kno if it has been hurting your car.....but if you ever wanted (or if you already have) to run subs it would be hard with the lights on bc it would drain the battery....

I doubt it would hurt the car. if you have no problems then just keep it.

Off topic: am I the only one who still has the original battery in their car?

I do have subs and my car did have a slight problem starting once in a while due to the battery. I prob will buy new battery and was wondering whether or not I should get an optima red top?

No, 2000 I30 and still with the original battery. No problems even during the cold NJ winters!

are the terminals just small or is it totally the wrong specs

i asked for a replacement batt. and they gave me one with smaller terminals to i had to put metal rings around them to make them a little bigger.
