Since you dont know the difference between a dynojet and a dynapack...im guessing you arent one of the said experts. All we ask for is a dynojet run...so that we are comparing horsepower with the same ruler. If you dont understand why we keep asking then you have no business posting in this thread. Please refrain from making baseless assumptions and accusations or the repercussions will be swift. good day

Awesome, we have another English major among us.

I guess because I have the audacity to question something I am a hater. Because I don't GIVE the VQ30 owners a handicap I am a hater. Because I choose to keep the testing methods and proving standards EQUAL that makes me a hater.
Many of you VQ30 guys just beg to be martyred and it is sad. If you guys want the credit you think you deserve then step up to the plate, on the SAME playing field as everyone else, and prove your worth. Otherwise stop crying like little babies.

Don't start ripping my sentences out of context. You should know if this is directed at you or not. If you can't handle the truth or can't understand articulation then perhaps you should get someone more intelligent than you to explain it on your level or just not post your uneducated comments.

I was referring to the 4th gen VQ30DE, not VQ30DE-K, but I agree about the wheels, which is why I kept my stock 15s.

hating= no reason

We have reason to question these results. Why? Because they are beyond what has been shown before. I think the dyno is the culprit, I'm sure he'll still have great numbers. Not rediculous numbers.

Even I get haters who cross my path from time to time and I never expect everyone to believe me. But unlike some, I don't make claims that I don't prove. And I downplay many of my own things that I can't prove.

SR20DEN in case you didn't know, you are well repected org. and have nothing to prove, just relax. I myself have a high amount of repect for you.

Where was it required that I use my commas other than listings or the use of the appositive?

You are one of the few sane persons in this thread. And I am sorry it came down like this. You listened to our requests and offered to correct the mistakes by your dyno operator and we thank you and respect you for this.

Someone mentioned earlier about the American made VQ35. The 2k2-2k3 Maxima and Altima VQ35s are imported from Japan. IIRC, the Decherd engine plant in Tennessee didn't start manufacturing VQ35s until the '04 model year.

For those of you that think I like to argue I want you to know that I wasn't even trying to do so. If you want to see some REAL debates, go into Off Topic. There are many there who are several steps above any level that I am capable of arguing or debating at.

That dude in Dallas had extensive engine work done on his VQ30... He dynoed 238~240 WHP with a built up 3.0. Before I met the guy several other of the Dallas guys were mentioning his car and saw the dynos, so im pretty sure he wasn't BSing.

To the best of my knowledge he had MEVI, stillen equal length Y pipe, 260 duration JWT cams, heavy duty valvetrain, aggresive JWT ECU tune, 8.9:1 compression with aftermarket pistons, crank, and rods... Basically everything you can do with a motor he had done. He's installing a turbo soon, but did a engine build up for it and put down that kind of power N/A. He doesn't post on the org cause he doesn't want to be bothered by anyone, he posts once in a while on DNE's website.

With that kind of build its possible, but im willing to bet the power under the curve was crap.

That's cool man, I have a thing for learning. Tomorrow I will call the guy who gave me the dyno to get more info on it measuring system. I just want guys to realize we all drive the same car in the Nissan family, lets stick together. And as of right now, my main objective is not to see one of these when I post the charts!!!!!!!

sorry this is addressing the previous page, but are our autos really killing 23%? i thought it was more like 18% and our bhp figures are just a little inflated (while the tq numbers are a bit low)........no? 23% is quite a loss.....
