Screeching Noise At Start Up

Hey all, I get the crazyiest noise whenever i start up the car. Its like SCREECHING and it revs up high anyone know what this is. I just bought some NGK Iridium IX's. But I havent installed them yet I still got my NGK platinum tips in.

If it goes away soon thereafter after the car warms up, the drive belts may be dry and need replacement... If you have a case like this, when the noise goes away, if you turn off the car and then turn it on right away, do you still get the noise? If you do, then it is most likely the belts...

If it's the belts slipping then try some belt dressing until you replace them.

alternator belt. Belt dressing is only a temporary solution. I recommend getting it replaced.
