Powerslot/Hawk HPS Combo...Just Installed

Wow is all I can say. I can't remember my car ever stopping like it is now, plus the rotors look awesome. The white finish burns off at your first couple stops and it leaves a nice shiny silver finish. I didn't take pics because you all know what they look like, but I figured with all the recent brake talk that I'd chime in and let people know that they feel awesome and look even better and make no squeaking noises at all. Now i'm convinced that I definitely didn't need to replace anything in the rear because it's stopping perfectly as far as I'm concerned. I just wish the back looked as nice as the front rotors...oh well it's not worth the money right now, but when I get my 18's in the near future I'll definitely have to invest in some just for the looks haha...hope this helps some people in their brake decisions.

Yes, a front set of Powerslot Rotors and Hawk HPS pads

I got the Powerslot front rotors from www.southwestautoworks.com from Steve who gives Maxima.org 5% discount...I think I ended up getting them for around $200 shipped.

I got the Hawk HPS Pads from www.tirerack.com for around $75 shipped

Yeah I remember back in the day some people were bashing the PowerSlots....

I'm glad I got them, inexpensive...performs well...still no warpage after 2 1/2 years.

hmmm, i need some of those. Replaced stock rotors in front, due to extreme warpage at 30k. Now i have to replace the back rotors at 53k.

If i cop a pair, would i benefit more by putting them in the front, and transferring the front rotors to the back? Might as well have the good ones up front, they get used and abused more, and the back will have a slightly used set.

The rotors in the back are of a different size than the front. I don't think you can do this

OK,that was simple.

Firstly, Secondly, i would say most likely because of dirt and brake dust built up inside your wheels. Spray some brake parts cleaner in there, or hose it out with water, and see if it stops.
If not, it could be a few different things, but I'd try that first.

Yeah - totally impressed with mine too. I got the Axxis Metal Master pads though, and they have ZERO brake dust. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the pads. No noise, no dust and superb brake performance. Put the Goodridge SS lines on too.
