JWT cams are not worth the price or the amount of time it takes to install them. VQ35 cams would probably make the same power and you can buy a set of used ones from a 350Z owner who upgraded to Nismo cams, they require some modification to make them work in a 3.0L thou.

Yes, the VQ35 Altima, Maxima, 350Z, G35, etc. use the same cams until this years' Track/35th annivesary model 350Z supposedly.

Tomeis' are your best friend.

here is an article i found for a 350z. the cams plus some other upgrades don't do that much. not a stellar upgrade; has anyone tried to upgrade cams on a max?

VQ30ers need JWT cam sprocket spacers(~$80) and TILLEYS99 to drill the cam sprockets new dowel pin holes($??), however they can run *ANY* VQ35 cam.

Nobody has dynoed stock or aftermarket VQ35 cams in a VQ30 yet, so the jury is still out.

Nismo USA street cams = JWT = crap....

Tomei's are your best friend.

PhxBlue had JWT cams, but they never performed due to install issues.

I was going to do Tomei cams on my car, but I am saving up $$$ for some other things so thats out of the question for now. If I do come up with some spare $$$ for my car obsession I will sure to dyno and tune them to my liking with some dyno sheets-maybe posted on the .org.

Now that's what I like to read BlackBIRD ...

Tomei.

SR20DEN posted some pretty informative in the All Motor forums about our stock cams jsut to get an idea of the JWT's grinds compared to the stock units.
