FSTB installed!, however...
the bar is kinda loooose, its not hanging off the side, it juss not up str8....and i dont think its supposed to be like that; i have to loosen the adjuster nut to make it tighter but its sorta stuck and i cant move it.....all the other bolts are finely torqued..and those black brackets, is it coo i take em out? cuz i did....
and maybe it was because i was looking for a significant difference in handling and thinking bout it too much, but i couldnt really feel a difference.....would the loose bar make the difference?
help me...its my first real mod and im having doubtsssss

However, on my Max (2k 9/99 build date), on the drivers side, there is a welded joint that causes the mounting bracket of the FSTB to not be flush on the chassis. Hence, when I tried to install it that way, the bar would twist.
So, I left the black oem bracket on the driver's side, but took it off the passenger side. The bar is straighter and I could tighten it fairly well.

The Stillen instruction says to take off the black bracket.

so basically...
what u guys r saying is that tha bar should be standing straight up and that i should have left the driver side bracket on? i just tightened the bar a little bit more and its not as loose, but i dont have time to test it until 2morrow....
Aren't you the one who was very upset that your Courtesy Nissan FSTB hadn't arrived at the date you expected? I you are, glad to hear you finally got. I know what it feels like. I had to wait about 7 weeks to get mine before cancelling my order and paying $30 more to get it from Courtesy Nissan. I love the FSTB.
