No More Rice
I'm cutting out my greddy evo muffler section and putting back a stock 01 muffler section, had it sbout 2yrs and it was way to loud, I'm keeping the y-pipe, straight pipe and i'm gonna keep the greddy b-pipe. I just hope it sounds good and I hope I don't lose to much power. Anyone else have this done?

You're going to lose so much power B pipes/hi flow cats/mufflers do just about nothing for performance, so I wouldn't worry about losing any noticeable power as long as you leave the y-pipe.

yeah! I wish I knew about this site 2 yrs ago, i would of went with something different. I going cheap style with a used muffler because one of my freinds talk to one of his sponsers and he's gonna hook me up with a turbo w/ everything for about 3 grand (installation probally included)

Just to let everyone know, I got my car back today and what a change. Its so quiet from start to idle and even under normal driving. Once i floor it really roars, I finally hear my intake. The y-pipe, straight pipe and b-pipe really give the car a great sound. Best mod ever= going back to stock muffler!!!!!!!!!!

Its your imaginaton... if it gave you any gains, its around 1-2HP
The only exhaust mods that give any real gains are Headers or y-pipes. after that, its all for looks and sound.
I am really thinking about going back to a stock muffler, After I put on the HS headers, the cattman is kinda loud and I am getting to old for loud exhaust.

Without a dyno I cannot say for sure, they are supposed to put down around 20 more HP, The buttdyno tells me that it pulls nicer and harder in the midrange to the redline....
