2000 GLE Recommended Tires

What tires are the best for all weather driving -we live in NM where it's very hot, but in the winter I want to be able to get great traction when it snows-it can be treacherous. But, I also want something that looks great. Price isn't really an issue. Your suggestions please! Thanks, Lisa

Actually, it's called the Ziex 512. The Azenis is a summer tire and autocross tire. But, the 512 is a good overall tire (I have had 2 sets).

For slightly more money, the Toyo Proxes 4 is the best all-around all-season tire...good grip in dry, rain, snow....quiet....good ride....slow treadwear. This is what I use now and it's the best tire I've ever owned...

For ALOT more money, the Michelin Pilot Sport has stiffer sidewalls for better dry performance. Also has good wet and snow grip....It is, however, a loud tire and wears very fast.

I would go for the Proxes 4, hands down.

I've been running Kumho 716 ecsta HP's for over a year. Great price, all season, & 50k mile warrentee. Have used them in rain, dry and snow conditions here in Jersey. No complaints. Bought from Tire Rack.

I was looking into these to replace OEM's. Does anybody have any reviews on these? Asked in Tires section and only one response saying they were heavy.

Thanks

Dunlop SP5000 AS, they were the tires from manufacturer and they were excellent. I presently have Yokohoma AVS dB and not good, thinking of replacing them.
