triple gauge pod mounting Q???

i was attepting to get my CE triple pod mounted but i couldnt get it to fit back in, it seems the tab that alignes the A pillarinto the dash font fit due to the added width of the trim piece+pod.

Anywho, just wondering what other pod'ers have done, if trimming that tab is the best idea, or if that will have any ill effects, i wouldnt think so, but i thought id ask.

Thanks all

I was weary about getting the tripple pod and just got single pods mounted. I'm not sure how far you live from One6Motorsports but they did the install. Maybe they can help with your pod. If you decide to return it. The single pods I bought from this shop were I think $15. Their number is 847-593-9490. Ask for Mark and tell him Nick with the o3 maxima sent you if you are interested. Sorry I couldnt help with the install.
