Windsheild Replacement

I have a crack in my windshield which is unable to be repaired. I am getting quotes for around $300 to replace the entire windshield. Does anyone know how hard it is to replace or is it just worth dishing out $300 and getting it done professionally? btw my insurance is a $500 deductable so it isn't worth going through them

takes about 15 minutes to take the old one out and 5 to put the new one in. Just have to have the right tools. Don't pay 300 for one though. The windshields themselves cost $75-$85 shop price. Fine somewhere that will do it for under 150 atleast.
