The guide window uses to go on, spray WD40 or Silicone Lubricant on it and clean it out with a Q-Tip or corner of a rag.

not WD-40. its oil based and will attract more dirt

How to fix problem of windows rolling up slow and squeaking.
RED - Run a wet rag in the window track then spray whole thing with silicon spray.
BLUE - Wipe inside both rubber pieces with wet rag.

Yeah, Sooner is right. WOW, it's odd because I had done this today because my driver's side window would always come back down 1/4 way because the track was sticky. Also, if you have tint (like me) watch that you don't get overspray on it. Wait 'til the silcone evaporates.

Where's a good place to get silicon spay? Any specific brand? I'm also having slow squeeky window issues.

edit: found some at my base gas station, Brand GUNK, only $2.75 a can

Any auto parts store has them. No particular brand is better than the other. It's only a couple of dollars a can.

I have squeaking in my rear driverside all the time and occasaionally in my rear passenger. I just thought it was my custom maxima stickers but now I will try this. Is there anything I can use instead of silicon spray? Trying to save my money.

Yeah, but silicone is the best way to go. Again, it's only like $3-$4 a can.

its common on all cars. i spray the window with glass cleaner, and run it up and down a couple times, spraying each time. and also use silicone spray on the side tracks.

I'm going to have to add "squeakage" into my lexicon.

Just a hint: I decided to do my front windows at lunch because my passenger side was terrible. Anyway after completing the instructions posted by sooner, my front passenger was still a tid bit slow coming up, as if it was still catching so I cleaned and spray the lil short 3-4 inch groove by the mirror and presto!! Up and down faster with ease.

Quick question? The windows to move quicker and easier, but my passenger is still about a sec slower going up than the drivers side. Anyone else witness this in there car or will I be looking foward to replacing the window mech soon?

Yeah I constantly roll my windows up and down. Its extremely dusty here too. The silcone spray I used was made by GUNK and it was only $2.75, I like cheap fixes.

My driverside goes quicker than the passenger. Sometimes, the driverside comes back down a bit which is a pita. Its very very rare.

I thought the window roll down thing was because of the regulator needing to be reset? did spraying the tracks resolve that problem? because i have the same issue and its a pain, my car got wet the other night because the valet didnt notice that the window rolled down a bit and left it parked like that

I know my front passenger side was terribly slow coming up, but its 10x better now. The passenger side windows still come up about a sec or two slower than the drivers side though. I just figured with all four windows coming up together that the drivers side took priority on power.

Yeah, what was happening in my car is that the tracks were so dry, when the window was going up in auto mode, the window was dragging and slightly jerking off track. This, in turn, made the window stop and come down a 1/4-1/2 from the top. The auto up mode is designed in our cars in way where if it feels any resistance while going up, the window will automatically stop (a safety feature so that you don't get your fingers, hand, or anything else get caught in the window.) Yeah, and after I sprayed the silicone, it then glided much more smoothly.

anyone having a slow window after lubing tracks and rain channels might consider pulling the door panel and greasing the regulator with AN APPROVED WINDOW REGULATOR GREASE.
