New TWM 2nd Gen Maxima Shift Adapter

Hi Everyone,

The ORIGINAL transmission mounted short throw shift adapter for the Maxima just got better!

We've made some small changes which create a more durable, easier to install part which we can offer to you at a lower price (Gen 2 is $109.05 as opposed to $137.95 for Gen 1)

Here is a picture of the new adapter:

Throw reduction is slightly larger than the original part at 35% and we have taken care to design a part which won't displace the shifter inside the car.

You can purchase the part from our online store here: http://www.twmperformance.com/shorts...rtshifters.htm

Also be sure to check out the new giveaway's we're offering this month! They're up online now and anyone who purchases a part from us is entered into the draw.

Thanks!

Karel

so the gen 2 reduces throw even more then gen 1? also is the adapter that goes inside the car still available? or is there just one?

That's what it sounds like... and it sounds like this one does away with the need for the 2nd piece to center the shifter.

We've actually completed the design of a Maxima shift **** and are working on scheduling a production run in the very near future. I'll see if I can get a pic of the prototype up online shortly.

As mentioned above the shifter inside the car remains in the stock position. There was no need for a second adapter inside the car with this design.

We also improved on our original design by slightly modifying the pivot point of the shifter, this has resulted in a small increase in the throw reduction when compared to our first gen (33% compared to 35%).
