Exhaust flow... 2000 Auto GLE

Replaced spark plugs (NGK), put a new MAF in today... and the exhaust is still "puffing"... the gas is not coming out smoothly like it should be, i can feel the puffs if i put my hand by the exhaust...

suggestions?

no not since i've got my car...
i have about 130k... i bought the car at 112k...
i'm going to have a fuel injection service, oil change, alignment, transmission flush all done in one shot...

you think that'll cure it?
btw, new maf installed yesterday, NGK's installed a week ago...

Updated the ECU after MAF replacement?

For your injectors you could do the Sea Foam treatment...

Sounds like your idle is not even. Am I correct? You may want to change your PCV, clean the throttle too... Not sure if your IAC is working properly either... This is assuming that you have rough idle...

if there is a considerable pause in the exhaust coming out then id check to make sure one of the precats or possibly even the main cat is still in tact.

yes, especially if its 'hissing' under cruise or accel.

if you have a vacuum gauge you could find out quite a bit... sounds like misfire, or partial misfire, burned exh valve or exhaust issue.
