Looking into trading in my max for a 2002 lexus IS300. If anyone has any opnions on this let me know as I have never owned a lexus before. Thanks!

 

Slower car, but much nicer and Lexus dealers will litterally n00b you while you are in for service.

Get a 5spd IS if you can, its more fun to drive than the borring auto. Overall, great reliable car- was going to get one before my Maxima, kinda regret it sometimes.

 

why are there 2 threads open about the same question from the same person? If you get a Toyota Altezza, make sure you don't get an auto and make sure you turbo it and drop a JZ motor into it...

 

Nice car. My co worker owns one, but its def. slower than the max...I wasn't that crazy about the interior and like everyone say don't get an auto.....As far as reliability he's had a window motor and foglight bulb blow 3 months after ownership so all cars have there short comings......but still nice car. shifter is 10 times smoother than the max's
