SES Light - Code 1380?

Been a long time since I last posted, but here goes...

My SES light came on this afternoon. I followed the instructions on how to pull down the code and got the following result:

Blink one time
Blink three times
Blink eight times
Blink ten times

Best I can tell, this equates to 1380. Didn't see that one listed in the FAQ. Anyone have any clues? I'd rather avoid the Stealership if possible.

Thanks.

Incidentally - 2002 Max purchased new 3 years ago this month (though it was built almost 4 years ago); 36500 miles; always premium fuel

Are you sure you didn't just get the digits in the wrong order? A P0138 is a very common code. As a matter of fact I have a closely related P0139 code on my 2K2 that I am trying to diagnose right now.

Anything's possible, I guess. Although I was pretty sure I was reading them in order 1-3-8-0. An Autozone just opened up in town. Do I understand that they'll pull the codes using an OBD-II for free? Will they know where to connect it on my Max? Thanks.

Autozone will check it lickity-split for free.

and no 1380 code listed.

probably an 0138, you can try again or have a/z do it for you.

Autozone checked it this a.m. and found no code. I'm wondering if I accidentally "reset" the ecu when I was checking for the code last night. I presume, however, that the code would reappear if there was truly a problem. Is this a proper assumption?
