How much are you guys wanting for yours? I might get a new one (the previous owner of my car apparently didn't believe in cleaning under the hood), if the price is right.

Call your nissan dealer and get a black one for the altima like I have. They are like 50 bucks. You can use the Maxima or Altima ones for the 3.5

Ya, but it was wrapped up with the grill and a bunch of other stuff. I don't remember how much it was.

high gloss sterling mist. Unless you have some kind of color theme going in the engine bay. I made mine Merlot and am slowly changing my hoses over to red. I am also doing all metal aftermarket parts in chrome. here's a better pic of my bay:

The picture doesn't do it justice. In fact, all the local DC crowd make fun of me by saying that I constantly wax my engine cover. I have 126k miles on my '03 and it's cleaner under the hood now than the day I bought it new.

Hmm, sounds tempting. I'll let you know sometime this week. Before I do go ahead with this, will the paint hold up to the heat inside the engine bay?

Not to get off topic, but does anyone make an aftermarket cover for the 3.0. I checked the Forum FAQ, but it does not seem to be working for me. Every time I submit something it says "Sorry, not found".

It's the AE edition cover. You can buy it from any Nissan dealer, but it doesn't look as good as the 5.5 gen cover (which won't fit).

Unless you want to do a little machining with some aluminum. I'd recommend a nice diamond plate. I've looked at a friends 4th gen (Redmax) just out of curiosity to see if it could be done. Should't be that tough.
