Blending Gas??

Hi, the gas price is killing me now...i want to give up some performance by switching to 89..but i \'m just wondering if that would be better for the car run on half 91 and half 89...any idea? is it worse than just 89 cuz it's blended? thx

it would be best for your car to deal with the prices and use full tank of 91

These prices are going to be a short term thing, it won't really hurt much to put in 89 IMO. Personally, there's no way in hell I'm going to spend $3.10/gal to fill up the Maxima every 3 days.

Here we go again....!!!!! Just use the gas you can afford. Just remember to treat your car well and don't do hard scceleration with it. other members will say the you cannot use other grade below 91 but remember your wallet is your friend. I just put a full tank of 87 cause the price just skyrocket today to $3.00 after the the President speech. So my car will stay in the garage for a long time.. and my backup car is on the street right now.. good luck.......

what kind of truck... a diesel one that you can convert the fuel and use oil? I read something about that you can use oil and process it so the car can run on the processed oil.... or something like that......

yea...use the oil that cooked with fires or chicken..just get the oil from KFC or something...probably just filter it nicely...i'm not sure..the downside is that it smells all the time makes you hungry, and the gas change in is not just 10 cents...it was a 30 cents change..so..$4.5 bucks
