350Z seats....???

would it be possible to mount in 350Z seats that are heated and powered and have them use my heating and power function on my 2000 maxima? has anyone done this? if so, how much was it to have the bracket made?

You could always go to a junkyard and get the 350Z brackets for cheap, line up the mounting holes to the frame with a premanet marker so you know where the holes are. Drill new holes yourself. Done. Or if it is totally different, go to a machine shop and tell/show them the particulars of the bracket and have them make a couple.

tlong - make your sig smaller before the mods do it for you.

The 350z should fit with some modification. People made them fit in the 4th gens, so it should be able to be done in a 5th gen.

Yeah I agree, make it smaller, it's like a picture thread everytime I see your signature. I don't have anything against your car, but your signature is way too huge.

well I know anything is possible...I was just asking if it would be possible to retain the power function of my current seats if I were to swap in power 350Z seats...and also to retain the heated function since I have that too in my maxima...

i think the power seat module plugs may be different. i beleive the z has side impac airbags in the seat. the rails are diff as well, you will prolly have to use the z brackets, and bolt them to your max.

so it look like from all the people that have done it so far on here is that you just swap the cushions over...and keep the seat rails, base, power module and seat heater if you have it...(which I do) the only thing difficult is figuring out how to mount the cushions to our seat rails and such...

the only thing I am worried about is what happens if the I currently have side impact airbags in my current seats and the new Z seats are powered and heated, but no side impact airbags....will my airbag light always be on since the harness will be connected to nothing?
