Key less entry question?

Does anybody know where the factory key less entry receiver is located on a 2000 Max SE. Also do you know if it has a fuse in it? Any help is much appreciated. Thank You.

i checked the fuses they are all good. i need to know the location of the receiver. where is 13 located? thanks

Holy s hit. I did not just read that. FUSE PANEL IN YOUR CAR...FUSE #13!!!!!! How did you check the fuses if you don't even know where the 13th fuse is?!

i don't know about your car but my car doesn't have numbers indicating fuses

You're welcome. I captured the picture in the 2002 Maxima Service Manual.
I don't think there's fuse in the Smart Entrance Control Unit. However, there're fuses for the Remote Keyless Entry System in the fuse box. Did you check the fuse box and fusible link box?

Thanks again. I checked all the fusues and replaced the key less relay to no avail. my next step is to replace the control unit. i'll be going to a junk yard today. i'll keep you posted. Again, thank you very much.

umm, before you go replacing modules... there are THREE fuses for the SECU. if your keyless isnt working, but the pl are, try replacing your transmitters battery

Thanks for you help. I really appreciate all the help i can get.

I checked all visible fuses. I'm Sorry i don't understand what (pl) is. Can you tell me which 3 fuses are for the SECU. My interior lights and Locks don't work, everything else works.
