hey whats the difference between D2S and D2R bulbs?? what would fit my 02 maxi?? i got a burnt headlight and i am looking for a replacement. My friend has some 7000k bulbs and they are swwwwwweeet! Any help/advice?

 

d2r for your headlights.

d2r = reflector headlamps
d2s = shielded headlamps (projectors)

 

sweeeett thanks ill probably go with 7000k temperature as well.....what about the size of 5th gen maximas..is it h4 or h1???

 

6000k would be better. the light output is much better than the 7k.

00-01 = H4

02-03 = D2r

 

go with 4100, or 5300 at most. if you cant fight the ricer urge, then maybe a 6000K...

anything more will cause eye fatigue, yours and the oncoming drivers...

yeah no more than 5300. the stock 4100k is just fine to me. lights up the road nicely. 6000k isn't gonna be as good
