The bungee cords make all the difference. They are the best sound deadening you can have and allow for greater excursion of the cones!

i was told if you use 3 they should be for the tweeters, the door speakers and the sub, but that's if you keep the same speaker system. But what are you gonna use your 3 amps for?

1. How much did something like that cost and 2. when buying subs what should you look for the db or frequency, to get the most thump in the trunk.

Don't really want to reply for him since it was directed at xtantmaxima, but I do remember that he said that his pics were of a test install to make sure everything fit, and that once everything was installed there was no gap. That was from a thread a couple of months ago. Just do a search maybe for double din and that might turn it up.

You can get pre made amp racks from Q logic that could help you keep everything neat if you don't like the woodwork or fiberglass work. I personally have 3 amps and 2 10" subs as well and I just put the amps on the back of my sub box that is facing forward. I then made a trim board that fit around the amps to make everything look neat.

I am about to redo my system actually. I will be selling my 3 amps and going with 2 PPI powerclass amps. I will also redo the sub box totaly from fiberglass. Looking at cutting the weight down some. The fiberglass will be about 1/2 the weight and just as strong and allow for a more impressive system with contours and custom paint work. My sub box that I have now, I will sell ... so if anyone's interested

Yes, those were all test fits with the gap. If you look, you can see underneath the driver side dash is missing the trim panel still. The most recent picture I have is:

Dude, I was just looking at your web site. Your setup ROCKS! Looks like the guys doing your install really did a super-nice job. Sorry about those last few pics, though. Brought a tear to my eye.

Located in LV which is a ways from the NYC. I can't really give you exact numbers cause I have some friends in the business. The IVA retails for 1800 the dvd retails for 1000, the changer is around 350 each amp is around 1000 and the subs are about 250 each. then there is the alarm, which wa 3 of the 10 days it took to get that car done.
