Rookie MAF questions

- What is a MAF?
- I lost power on my max, are those the symptoms off a bad MAF?
- Where and how much can i get a new one?
- my 02 has 85k miles on it..i lost power significantly, im thinking its this cuz i hear alot of people having loss of power due to a bad MAF...but im all like..whats the MAF??? lol..help this rookie out!! hehe

Since you were kind enough to point out the fact that you're a rookie (and I like to **** off Puppetmaster on general principal...), as long as you can rev over 3k RPM's, your MAF is fine. If not the MAF, try using Seafoam (check FAQ's) to clean your throttle body and fuel system (It'll cost you around 5-7 bucks). If not that, time for a tune-up most likely.
