I do believe this is the thread, I just can't see any pics in it if it has any since my work has blocked those out. But, there is a picture pointing out the part that he was discussing in the one of those post I think.

I'm not sure if it was an actual thread started regarding this, or just a post in a thread, but this does seem to be the right one. Much appreciated!

 

I think I'm going to try to pinpoint the issue this weekend myself. Now I gotta find out how to take this dash apart. Stickies here I come!

I think problem with the unit was very detailed in the post. The pics were pretty detailed also, but of course like you mentioned since they're down, it doesn't do us much good as of now.
