ABS and/or Brake Related Issue

The other day while driving my 02 SE at the first stop sign it feels as if my ABS took over in some way (I got some pulsating). The next braking I did it was worse and the next time IT WOULDN'T BRAKE/STOP ! I was picking out which car to hit but then it finally braked and stopped me. I was able to get home with just minor pulsating and my ABS light came on. The next day (very early in AM) I checked things out again in my driveway and then took a brief trip down the sparsely populated street I leave on and all was fine - brakes normal, no ABS light. What ever it was seriously affected hydraulics for that breif time.

Any ideas ? I'll probably get it towed to service just to be safe

I would not risk it with the brakes. Get it checked out ASAP. Is the ABS light still on? Regardless, there should be a code stored. Maybe your brake master cylinder is crapping out?
