And yes I cut the plastic neck off the gas cap and I always make sure its tight when filling up...that did absolutely nothing. Somemtimes when I fill up at the gas station the light will go off for about 1/2 a tank or less then it comes right back on.
My question is since both of these error codes relate to the EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve what type of repair bill should I expect from my local dealership when I take her in. I'm hoping its just a minor leak in some of the lines. Thanks for any insight.

a leak would throw a different code.
clear the faults and see how long they take to come back, start the engine, let it warm up and run it for a few minutes and then ck the faults. if you get faults again, it should be easy to diag, otherwise its an intermittent fault, and might be tougher to find.
either way, i think youll find a failed vent valve.
