Gen 2 Headers are teh r0xx0r! Dyno Results!

All

Just got the car dynoed this morning. Pulled 239.23 hp and 237.88 tq at the wheels on a 4th gear pull.

Strangely enough, these guys did 2 3rd gear pulls first, which did not yeild as high results, but very close.

My setup used to be injen... got rid of it and put in a Berk. Much better! I like having my low end back!

The numbers look odd because the 1st 2 runs in blue and green were 3rd gear pulls. They did the 3rd pull in 4th gear and we saw some very nice results with that. Kinda wished they had done all the pulls in 4th gear.

For a bunch of guys who love Evo's and STI's, they sure loved the sound of my car, not to mention the G35c Rims

Seems like it... so that means with SAE correction they should be a tad lower right?

Got the AFR chart?

FYI...

Gear Ratios: RS6F51A
1st-------3.153
2nd-------1.944
3rd-------1.392
4th-------1.055
5th-------0.809
6th-------0.630
Rev-------3.002

4th is the closest 1:1 ratio so you want to dyno in 4th gear.

**Edited** I swapped some numbers up on 3rd gear. My dislexia.. sorry. Fixed now.

Where is the baseline? Where are the SAE numbers?

4th is the closest 1:1 ratio so you want to dyno in 4th gear.
Wow 1mph difference between 2nd and 3rd?

Did not get the run files. They only gave me the run sheet. SAE corrected I would assume is probably 235 approx.

Nice numbers, but I am still pissed that my exhaust is rattling! Argh!

I did not have time to get a baseline done.

sweeT! now can somebody compare this dyno with a gen1 dyno with the same mods? to prove that these cattmangz gain more mid-range

we already know peak #s haven't changed much...235whp sae seems to be the magic # with i/h/e (whether gen1 or gen2)

Strong numbers.

If you don't mind can you please get the SAE numbers so a better comparison can be made. One more thing, what kind of dyno was this, Dynojet?

I fixed the problem. My dislexia kicked in. 3rd should be 1.392 ratio.

I have a UDP to be installed, and I will be doing a timing advance. How much will I see with the SAFCII?

Any dangers of the AFC tune to the engine. Known code pulling?

How about the other numbers: $? What are they running price-wise. It's either headers, cams, full exhaust, and an engine bore this winter or rebuild + custom turbo on the 3.5 with all the goodies to make it work right. Either way, I'm looking at around 10k in the engine. Hopefully it'll move well then...

I did not get a baseline dyno run, but we can assume my car was running the same numbers as most maximas. 205whp and 215 tq

he does not have a baseline dyno...so we will never know

but my bet would be a 205whp baselin....so we are looking at around 30whp+ increase with his mods...
