Did ya even read those links posted above?

See post #12 in the 2nd link.

For how VTEC is different, go to www.howstuffworks.com and search for VTEC to supplement Steven88's Cliff Notes....

That is really the point I keep trying to make. The VeeTAK crap means nothing.

Its pointless, might as well save your time and head to a dyno shop

I dissagree. Doing most of your tuning on the street via wideband can help save time at the dyno. Especially when you're writing corrections for more than one set of parts to dyno test.

I dont think he was referring to using a wideband.

Do you happen to have a write up on this SR20DEN? Or some instructions?

Also, will my A/F Setpoints be the same as other people with the same setup? or is it unique to each car?

well, wideband or not...wouldn't it benefit somewhat since the car is experiencing the real world "load"....unlike the dyno where it just places load on the tires....wheres street driving you get changes in temperature, speed (aerodynamics) etc etc....

basically I was tryin to ask, has anyone tuned safcii for closed loop operation?

Rbrown: They will be close...but not exactly the same. It depends on a lot of things.

Steven: You can simulate the "real world" closed loop operation on an eddy current (mustang, Not dynojet) dyno. You can significantly improve fuel mileage by doing this.

My buddie's 11 sec Talon he tuned himself using AEM EMS by running through the 1/4 mile several times and logging each run, he made adjustments from there.

I can't imagine it being too easy without a wideband.

How would you tune w/o a wideband? By as.s dynoism? That's ..
For the record.... There's a particularly quick automatic that "street tunes" using a wideband of course.

Question : Are there write ups on AF tuning in the Advanced Motor forum? Specifically on what numbers to tune to?
