The cheapest RF key?

My key kicked the bucked. Local nissan dealers said it will be $140/key + $70 programming charge. Is there anybody more reasonable? I still have the metal tag with a key code.

Great timing....my best advice...go ebay type in transponder key maxima...then purchase the key usually 10 a pop (i purchased 4), took it to a locksmith 3 each for cutting, then take it to the dealership and they will program everything for 45. So total came about to 100 for 4 keys. Great deal if you ask me. Pretty good if you need extras, plus the keys on ebay on super thick and solid...

Your key kicked the bucket? How the heck would that happen? Why not just get the old keys reprogrammed instead of getting new ones cut?

ive seen transponders in keys fail, but ive never heard of an RF key, unless youre talking about a key with an RF transmitter in the head, like a Porsche/vw/audi..
