Blinkers Acting Like Hazards?

I just installed a new JVC head unit tonight, so of course I had to remove the bezel around the shifter, which meant that I had to unplug the lighter, hazards, and the light in the ashtray. Got everything installed, then hooked up the lighter and hazards and such.

Here's the problem: Now when I turn on either turn signal, BOTH signals flash, like they would if you turned on the hazards! It's nuts! The hazard button still turns on the hazards, but for the life of me I can't figure out what could be wrong to cause the blinkers to BOTH blink no matter which way I flip the blinker lever. No fuses are blown. I've tried removing the hazard plug and reinstalling a few times, no dice. Any ideas on how to make my blinkers strt working correctly again?? Thanks!! I have a 2002 SE.
